Original work created using the Arraiolos stitch tapestry technique, an ancestral Portuguese method originating from the town of Arraiolos in Alentejo (southern Portugal). The artist has both preserved and innovated this technique within the context of Contemporary Art. The fillings are made from excess materials and remnants of previous artworks, contributing to a sustainable and zero-waste studio practice.
